Here are more cards I have made for this hop. Different to my recent post for the ESAD group...

I am so in awe of Bermuda Bay, as you can see with this next card.
AND the YOU'RE LOVELY stamp from the Sale A Bration catalogue.

I love this colour...

I also stamped a little of the YOU'RE LOVELY stamp set onto the outside of the envelope.
Just that little added touch... hint: make sure your stamp is perfectly clean...

I have used a different colour, yay...Tangerine Tango...nice bright on white. Again, I used the YOU'RE LOVELY stamp set onto the outside of the envelope. I love the little extra twine around the white ribbon..."just the little things" ...and matching candy dot.

AND one more quick one using the colour coach for a change and I have tried the decorative label punch to cut out the background, deco label framelits on my wishlist...

AND here you at the end of the "another blog hop", but you may have just started. Continue and check out my fellow stampers.

Sale-A-Bration - ESAD Blog Hop

What is ESAD?
ESAD
stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an
on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up!
demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends, and
wonderful blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD
Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge,
ideas & friendship, and we're always there to help and support each
other.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand,
then please feel free to leave me a comment with your Email address and I'll contact you with
information on how to join our wonderful group.

Here are a few cards that I have made:

I have used the free Sale-A-Bration stamp "You're Lovely".
Card 1 just a lovely and simple to stamp and cut out card...clean and crisp
Card 2 Using the circle thinlets to make this one...I had fun. I also cut out the circle part and used this only...
Upclose of the front.
The other side of the circle part of the card. again I left it mainly blank for a change.
Card 3 Gorgeous stamp and I have handcut out it to the border, also stamped sentiment in brown sugar...
Upclose...
Card 4 card using the pattern part of the same SAB set...
Card 5 again using the "lovely" stamp, but fussy colouring in, without the original sentiment, to use it on a babycard...

A file of cards.

Look what I whipped up over a few days slash weeks. I love this little magazine slash card holder. I could make one for all types of cards. AND to use up that special paper I have been hoarding for ever...Finally found a lovely use for it.  OHH And what a fantastic Christmas present FOR "next year"...

This shows the full size C6 card (half an A4 sized card making card) and envelope size holder.

AND this one fits notecard size cards and accompanying envelopes... also available in whisper white precut and scored with envelopes....(just need to decorate the cards)...(hint see next post)

Have fun looking...or check it out on my Pinterest...CLICK HERE.

FRUIT AND NUT Christmas Cakes

FRUIT AND NUT Christmas Large cake
I made these up for the teachers presents, but forgot to post before christmas...oops...here you go anyways, for the record... cheers.

2 kg mixed fruit and raw mixed nuts, I bought 2 lots of 750g Woolworths Tassie. (close enough)
3/4 cup plain flour, I did use a little less.
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
3 eggs, I used our very own chookies eggs which are a little smallish...
3/4 cup sugar, I used a little less for my (1.5kg mix)
1 teaspoon vanilla.

  • Turn oven on 150C.
  • Grease and line a 20cm square tin
  • Mix fruit and nuts with sifted flour and baking powder
  • Beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy
  • Mix everything well
  • Bake for 2 to 2.5 hours, don't burn it.
  • Remove and when cool wrap in plastic wrap, then foil to store in an airtight container in the fridge. OR EAT IT...

FRUIT AND NUT Christmas smaller cakes

Do all of the above, but use smaller tins and for less time in the oven.
I have successfully made this recipe into six smaller tins and cooked for 1.5 hours.

HERE YOU GO:

This recipe made six smaller ones...Perfect!
ALL wrapped in cellophane with stash of ribbon just for presents...next year I'll have to use my Stampin' UP ribbon

Have fun.
